Horticultural and Pastoral Societies


Agricultural societiesan> put about 5,000 years ago in the Middle East, thanks to the invention of the plow. When pulled by oxen and other large animals, and allowed to plow more than just agriculture tools horticultural societies allowed. He also invented the wheel at about the same time, and the written language and numbers began to be used. Characterized by the development of farming communities and thus a turning point in the evolution of human society. The ancient Egypt and China, Greece and Rome and all the farming communities, India and several other major countries still exists today primarily agricultural.
